Merge PDF
Merge multiple PDFs into one file with selected, alphabetical or reversed file order and a custom output filename.
About this merge pdf
Merge PDF documents locally in your browser. Pages from each selected file are copied into a new PDF in file order.
How PDF merging works here
The tool copies pages from the selected PDF files into one new PDF in the same file order shown on screen. The merge runs in the browser using a PDF library, so the selected documents do not need to be uploaded to a Divya Tools server.
For the cleanest result, arrange the input files in the required order before merging and open the downloaded PDF once to verify page order, orientation and form fields.
How to use Merge Pdf
- Choose at least two PDF files and review the selected files.
- Choose the merge order and output filename.
- Merge the PDFs, download the result and verify page order before sharing it.

Merging changes the container, not the meaning of the documents
A merge operation combines pages from separate PDF files into one output file. It does not verify whether the documents belong together, whether signatures remain legally acceptable, or whether a recipient requires a particular ordering. The user has to decide the intended sequence before downloading the final file.
Build the order deliberately
For a quotation package, a common order is cover/quotation first, technical annexure second and supporting documents last. For an application, the required order may be specified by the portal or notice. Rename source files clearly before merging when there are many similar attachments; “01-cover.pdf, 02-id.pdf, 03-certificate.pdf” is less error-prone than a folder full of generic scan names.
What merging does not fix
- Unreadable scans remain unreadable.
- Incorrect page rotation remains incorrect unless it is fixed separately.
- Very large embedded images can keep the merged PDF large.
- Password-protected or malformed PDFs may need to be opened or repaired before they can be combined.
After merging, check the first page, last page and at least one page around every file boundary. That catches the most common ordering and missing-page errors quickly.
