What happens to your images
Each selected JPG, JPEG, PNG or WebP image is placed on its own A4 PDF page while preserving the image aspect ratio. Portrait or landscape page orientation is selected from the image shape, and very large source images are downscaled in the browser to reduce memory pressure during conversion.

What happens when JPG images are turned into a PDF
A PDF page is a container. The image is placed onto a page with a chosen paper size, orientation and margin. Converting a JPG to PDF does not magically add detail to the image; print sharpness is still limited by the source resolution. A small screenshot stretched across A4 can look soft even though the resulting PDF itself is valid.
Choose orientation from the source
Portrait photos normally fit portrait pages best, while wide screenshots or scans can use landscape pages. If several images are combined, check each page rather than assuming one orientation works for every source. Keeping sensible margins also avoids content touching printable edges on office printers.
Resolution example
A 2480×3508 image is roughly equivalent to an A4 page at 300 pixels per inch. A 1240×1754 image is closer to 150 pixels per inch at A4 size. Both may look acceptable on screen, but the higher-resolution source gives cleaner print detail. Upscaling a small image only creates more pixels mathematically; it does not restore missing original detail.
Privacy and source files
