Lekhdwar Barcode Scanner

Turn a mobile phone into a wireless barcode scanner for Lekhdwar Desktop. Scan a product barcode here and send it securely to the connected Lekhdwar installation.

1. Connect to Lekhdwar

Enter the API token issued for this Lekhdwar installation. The API URL and channel are preconfigured.

Not tested
The token is sent only to the configured API over HTTPS. If “Remember token” is off, it is not saved in local storage.

2. Scan product

Use the rear camera for retail and inventory barcodes. A successful scan is pushed to Lekhdwar immediately.

How it works

  1. Open this page on the client’s phone and enter the Lekhdwar scan API token once.
  2. Start the rear camera and scan the barcode printed on a product.
  3. The scan is queued securely on the Divya Digi Experts API with a sequence number.
  4. Lekhdwar Desktop reads the next sequence and places the barcode into its item lookup workflow.

Important

This scanner does not magically type into unrelated software. It is specifically designed for a Lekhdwar receiver that implements the API contract shown on this page.
